Settings and Options - Files
The following settings are available on the Files tab

  1. App Log

    This setting determines the location of the log file used by Index.dat Suite

    Reccomendation: User preference

  2. BFG Log

    This setting determines the location of the Batch File Generation log file used by Index.dat Suite

    Reccomendation: User preference

  3. Results

    This setting determines the location of the results file (used to store the results of a scan on your system).

    Reccomendation: User preference

  4. MDIB

    This setting determines the background image that is used for the Index.dat Suite MDI window background. If left blank, or the file is determined not to exist, no image will be used.

    Note: Changes to this setting will not take effect until you re-start Index.dat Suite

  5. Method

    This setting determines the display method for the above.

    Note: Changes to this setting will not take effect until you re-start Index.dat Suite

  6. External Viewer

    Allows you to use an external viewer for the index.dat file's (e.g. Index.dat QV)
